# Automate Instagram story replies


Story replies come in fast and disappear in 24 hours. Answer every one automatically.

## Steps

1. **Open Story reply link.** Go to **Automations → Templates → Story reply link**.
2. **Set the keyword.** The word people reply with: `SALE`, `CODE` or `YES`.
3. **Write the message.** The code or link, plus when it expires.
4. **Turn it on before you post.** So the first replies are answered too.
5. **Post your story.** Use a text sticker that says exactly what to reply.

## Following up

Because the person messaged you first, you can keep the conversation going for 24 hours. Add a delay step with a reminder before your offer ends.
