How to Automate Facebook Page comments
Send a Messenger message automatically when someone comments a keyword on your Facebook Page post, with a public reply under their comment.
Plenty of customers in Nepal still find you on Facebook. Answer their comments in Messenger the moment they post them.
What you need
- A Facebook Page you manage, connected on the dashboard (personal profiles aren't supported by Meta)

Pick Auto-reply to Page comments
In Automations, click Browse templates, switch to Messenger at the top and click Auto-reply to Page comments.

Check the Page and keywords
Click the trigger. Make sure your Page is picked under Account, then add the words people comment, like
priceormenu. Choose Specific posts to limit it to one post.app.awwtomation.com/automations

Add a public reply
Switch on Post a public reply under Reply under the comment and write a line like "Sent you a message on Messenger!" The next person sees that commenting works.

Write the Messenger message
Click the Send message step. Write the answer and add a button to your price list, menu or order page.

Answer follow-ups in the inbox
Messenger conversations land in the same Inbox as your Instagram DMs, marked with the Facebook icon, so one team answers both.

Can my team reply in Messenger?
Yes. Messenger chats land in the shared inbox, where conversations can be assigned to a teammate.
Are there limits on Facebook?
Meta allows one private reply per comment (on Instagram too), and follow up messages only within 24 hours of the person's last message. Awwtomation enforces both for you.
