# Auto-reply to Facebook Messenger messages


In Nepal, plenty of buyers still message a Facebook Page before they buy. A Messenger auto-reply answers them in seconds, day or night.

## What you need

- A Facebook **Page** you manage (personal profiles aren't supported by Meta)
- An Awwtomation account on any plan

## Steps

1. **Connect your Page.** On the **Dashboard**, click **Connect**, then **Connect Facebook Page**. Sign in with Facebook, choose your Page and click **Connect Page**.
2. **List your top questions.** Scroll last week's Messenger chats: price, delivery charge and cash on delivery usually top the list.
3. **Open "Answer price questions".** Go to **Automations → Browse templates**, pick this Messenger template and click **Use template**. Check your Page is selected as the account.
4. **Add every keyword.** Include every spelling people use: `price`, `rate`, `kati`, `मूल्य`.
5. **Write the real answer.** The actual price and delivery charge, with a button for the order link or price list.
6. **Add a way to a person.** Add a "Talk to someone" button so conversations can reach your team.
7. **Turn it on.** Then duplicate it for delivery, opening hours or sizes.

Messenger chats land in the same inbox as your Instagram DMs, so one team can answer both.

## Tips

- Pair it with a comment automation on your Page posts, so "PP" comments get a Messenger reply too.
- Ask for a phone number in the chat to confirm cash-on-delivery orders.
- Check **Logs** if a message didn't send: every skip has a plain-English reason.

A: It matches keywords in any script, including Devanagari and Romanised Nepali. Add each spelling your customers use.
